Getting started

Launch a coin

A launch takes a minute and one wallet approval. The coin is created on pump.fun with your wallet as its creator, and its fees are locked to the burn in the same transaction.

Before you start

  • A Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack) with enough SOL for the network fee and any dev buy.
  • An image: PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP, up to 2 MB.
  • A ticker (2 to 10 letters or digits) and a name (2 to 60 characters).
  • If you’re burning a host, its contract address. See what a coin can burn.

Step by step

  1. Open Launch a coin and choose what it burns: a host coin, its holders’ coins, or only itself.
  2. For a host, paste its address. The page checks it has a market and shows what it found.
  3. Optionally set a self-burn share: the part of the burn that buys your own coin instead.
  4. Add the ticker, name, image, and optionally a description, your X handle and a dev buy (up to 10 SOL).
  5. Connect your wallet and press Launch. Approve the transaction in your wallet.

When it lands you go to your coin’s page, which shows the fee lock and a live meter of its fees.

What you approve

One transaction does three things:

  • Creates the coin on pump.fun, with your wallet as the creator.
  • Turns on pump.fun’s fee sharing and sends 100% of the creator fees to Symbio’s burn wallet.
  • Revokes admin on that split, so nobody can change it again: not you, not us.
A dev buy doesn’t fit in the same transaction. With one, you approve the launch (and your buy) first, then the fee lock right after. If you skip the second approval, the coin’s page shows that its fees aren’t locked yet and offers the lock again. Until it’s locked, the coin isn’t listed and its fees still go to you.

Addresses ending in SYM

Every coin launched here gets a contract address ending in SYM, so a Symbio coin is recognisable from its address alone. The addresses are generated ahead of time, so this adds no wait to your launch.

After launch

  • What it burns and its self-burn share are fixed. They can’t be changed later.
  • You receive none of the creator fees. Your upside is the coin itself.
  • Burns start as soon as it trades: see the burn engine for timing.
