Getting started
Why “symbiotic”
A cleaner fish feeds off a whale shark, and the shark gets cleaned. Both come out ahead. A Symbio coin and what it burns work the same way.
Two coins, one pair
- Your coin helps the host. Every trade on your coin buys the host and burns it, so the host’s supply shrinks.
- The host helps your coin. Its holders have a reason to buy and share your coin: your coin’s volume burns their supply.
A coin that burns its holders’ coins takes this further: the people holding it decide, by what they hold, which coins its fees burn.
The usual coin
Most memecoins work the other way. The creator fees go to the dev, paid for by the holders, and each new coin competes with the others for the same buyers. On Symbio there are no dev fees, and coins feed each other instead.
